The palate is where the wine shines with its sweet, ripe, plums, black cherries, cocoa, soft tannins and polished, sense of refinement in the mid palate and in the finish. The wine is spicy with a smoky edge. Ripe tannins come through the dense toasty character, as well as the juicy, fresh aftertaste. It is an impressive, solid wine with considerable potential. Verkostnotiz Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zart gewürzig-pfeffrig unterlegte schwarze Waldbeerfrucht, reife Herzkirschen, Nugat, sehr einladendes Bukett.
